THANK-YOU ATHENA!
Heading 2
I recently had the incredible opportunity to speak at the Athena Ride For Women, a four-day, women-only motorcycle rally in Athens, Ohio. It was an honor to share my story and connect with such an amazing group of women riders. The rally's goal of fostering a community of women riders and supporting My Sister’s Place, a local agency for domestic violence survivors, resonated deeply with me.
During the event, I rode a few routes of the Windy 9, including the challenging 555 (known as the Triple Nickle). It was a powerful reminder of the importance of pushing beyond our comfort zones and embracing new challenges. I truly believe in the power of sharing stories and experiences to inspire others.
I would love the opportunity to bring this same energy and inspiration to other speaking engagements. If you're looking for a passionate speaker to motivate and connect with your audience, I would be honored to be considered.
Thank you to Athena for this amazing experience, and I look forward to potentially working with other organizations to share my story and inspire others to embrace their own journeys.
THANK-YOU AMERICADE 2024!
Heading 2
I am extremely grateful to Americade for inviting me back as a Featured Speaker for two presentations:
1. "Why Can't I"
In this presentation, I shared my journey of determination following a breast cancer diagnosis, which motivated me to pursue motorcycle riding despite being born with a limb difference in my right arm and hand. I also discussed the various places I visited, all thanks to my motorcycle.
2. "How I Roll"
For this presentation, I brought my motorcycle along and talked about the different modifications I've made to my motorcycles over the years.
Both discussions provided me with the opportunity to exchange stories with fellow riders and answer questions about my riding experiences.

I am thrilled to announce that my book "FROM CHEMO TO THROTTLE" is now available for sale! "FROM CHEMO TO THROTTLE" tells the story of how I accomplished whatever I set my mind to, despite being born with a variety of congenital birth defects, the most noticeable being the limb difference of my right arm and hand. Often judged based on my appearance, I never let the opinions of others stand in my way. From playing lead guitar in my AC/DC Tribute Band "BARE RUMP" to fulfilling my lifelong dream of riding a motorcycle after being diagnosed with breast cancer, I never knew the meaning of the word "can't" (and still doesn't)!
Gary Ilminen of Ultimate Motorcycling, recently reviewed "FROM CHEMO TO THROTTLE" and had this to say;
"FROM CHEMO TO THROTTLE" will inspire and uplift you and motivate you to share Angie's message - "Why Discourage When You Can Encourage

It was my honour and pleasure to share my story at Americade's 40th Anniversary! Not once, but twice! The Carriage House located just in front of the Fort William Henry Hotel proved to be a fantastic venue and I am thankful to those who took time out of their day to hear me speak.
While it is wonderful to be told that you are inspiring, relatable and awesome, my biggest reward is knowing that I made a positive difference in the lives of others.
Thank-you you to the Organizers, Volunteers and everyone who supported this amazing event!
This was an amazing experience and I look forward to returning in 2024!

Angie Shares Story With Members Of The Canadian Progress Club
On October 7, 2022, I had the privilege of sharing my story with members of the Canadian Progress Club during their National Convention, which took place at the Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario. It was an incredible honour to be chosen as a speaker for such an important event, where members were celebrating their club's 100 years of service. During my speech, I emphasized the importance of eliminating the word "CAN'T" from our vocabulary and avoiding judgments of ourselves and others. Attendees found my presentation to be inspiring and heartwarming, and they showed their appreciation with a standing ovation.
